Frank Fox and Mrs. Feathermaster's Pies

My Dad, Mark Smith, has written a childrens book entitled, Frank Fox and Mrs. Feathermaster's Pies.  It's the story of Frank Fox, an inhabitant of Fromby Forest who loves mischeif and most of all PIE!  Its a great children's story book that has been created from the childhood stories my dad would tell us when we were kids.  After many years of all of his kids telling him to publish, he finally has!  The book is beautiful and will be for sale on Amazon this coming January, but if you would like to get a copy through me earlier, let me know!!!  The book is selling for $16.95 and I can get you as many copies as you want!  It would make a great Christmas present and would also help us to get the book out to the public!

6 Months with the Hammer

November 2nd marks Hammer's 6 month birthday!!!  As a celebration of being with us for 6 whole months, we decided it was time to introduce a couple new solid foods...Yea for sweet potato puffs and Arrowroot cookies!  Its been fun to introduce Austin to new things and solid foods are a big one!  This past month has been awesome.  We've had a lot of fun experiences and learned a lot as a family.  Here's a breakdown of a few of our October adventures:

At Thanksgiving Point

Sisters...sisters!
Austin loves playing the infant games on the Fisher-Price website
And playing the bongos...
At BYU on a lazy Saturday
BLUE eyes
We had a fun evening in my parents backyard.  We made a big campfire, roasted marshmallows, and talked all night.  So fun!
See?  Our fire was nice and HOT!
I had to splurge when Candice, Kyle, Austin and I went to the Gateway in early October.  Gotta make my baby a UTE!
I should have put this in the last post, but this is Kyle opening his mission call.  Ventura, Baby!!!
My dad gave us some newborn pictures of Austin that we'd never seen.  Made me cry!

My angel baby!
Gregor's grandparents were able to come out from Texas and spend a weekend with us.  It was AWESOME!  We had such a great time with them and Austin took to them so quickly!  Especially Opa.  Austin was sad to see them go so he held Opa's hand the whole way to the airport.  So CUTE!
We had to show Gutti and Opa the Alpine Loop.  They came at just the right time to see the beautiful leaves.  All Opa could say was "beautiful!"  It made my day!
Yeah, I took that...wat up?!
Me and my Honey...Love this Man!
Kyle was watching Austin for us one day and said he just kept trying and trying to get him to sleep.  So he finally just laid down with him and then passed out himself!  I had to take a picture, it was so cute!
Austin is a speed crawler and he LOVES textures.  Grass, sand, carpet, fur, it's all good.  Playing in the grass and Grandma and Papa's was a great time.
This face just screams trouble!

Playing in the grass.

Halloween  was the best!  Austin was Yoda...I haven't laughed that hard in a long time!  He didn't like his costume too much, so I was grateful we at least got a couple pictures of him smiling!

Greiner Family!
We wanted happy pumpkins, not scary ones.  Love ya!
October was a fabulous month.  We hope things are good for everyone, because they are for us!
